UKYDL Relays -Change to Mid-Day.

Is it time to change to time for Relays from an ‘end of the day’ event to a ‘mid-day timetable’. ?

Relays are supposed to fun and the single/key event to attempt to galvanise ‘team spirit’. This assumes you can convince 4 athletes to hang about to take part. If you take a look at , below Prem Leagues, the lack of ‘teams’ competing in the 4×400/300m it sadly looks pitifully low.
Perhaps, if the relays were held at (say) 1.pm rather than when the team bus/coach is revering its engines keen to leave the carpark….. then the Team Manager may have 4 athletes still at the track to pick.
