17 Feb Chris O’Hare runs 3.52 mile – 2nd fastest Brit behind Peter Elliot

Chris O’Hare came back to the Millrose Games a year after seeing BYU athlete Miles Batty set the collegiate of 3:54.54 ahead of him. Yesterday in New York City, O’Hare dismantled that record by running 3:52.98 to set a new NCAA record, a new Scottish record, a new school record, and the second quickest Brit indoors of all time, behind all-time great Peter Elliott.
